City of Torrance Historic Downtown area required Design review.

Sited on a corner "kite" shaped lot within the Historic Downtown area, this project required 3 houses with own garages while maximizing allowable building area and zoning code setback and open space requirements.

 

Our design solution is to create 3 separated but attached homes with own facade, entry, front yard within irregular site while responding the context.
